Critter Cove - Luxury Smoky Mountain Cabin at Parkside Resort

Welcome to Critter Cove, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin located inside Parkside Resort, just 2.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at traffic light #10.

With 2 levels and approximately 1,500 square feet, plus deck space, this cabin comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests and offers parking for approximately 2 vehicles, with additional parking available throughout the resort.

Critter Cove is the perfect blend of comfort, entertainment, and outdoor living, making it a great choice for families and small groups looking to enjoy the Smokies while still having space to spread out.

Main Level

Critter Cove has 4 steps up to the front door, where you enter from the full wraparound deck into the main level of the cabin. This level features an open air common space with the dining area, kitchen, and living room.

The dining table seats 6 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, glass top stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee pot, blender, toaster, and standard cooking and eating utensils to accommodate 10 guests.

The living room features a vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling windows that bring in natural light and showcase the mountain view. Relax on the comfortable seating, enjoy the large flat screen TV, or unwind next to the natural gas fireplace. The first of 3 sleeper sofas is also located in this room.

The main level also includes the first bedroom suite, featuring a vaulted ceiling, king size bed, and flat screen TV. The bathroom, which can be accessed from the bedroom or the entry hall, features a walk-in shower.

Step outside onto the main level deck and enjoy one of the standout features of Critter Cove. Here you will find the outdoor fireplace with a flat screen TV mounted above it, natural gas grill, outdoor dining table, and plenty of rocking chairs - perfect for relaxing and taking in the view.

Lower Level

Head downstairs for entertainment and additional space to relax. The lower level opens into a game room with all wood floors, a pool table, Tekken 3 arcade machine, flat screen TV, sleeper sofa, and a wet bar equipped with a mini fridge.

The washer and dryer are also conveniently located in a nearby closet.

Just beyond the game room is the private home movie theater. The third sleeper sofa is located here, and the theater room features stadium seating for 4 plus a leather sofa, Blu-Ray player, and surround sound. It is the perfect setup for movie nights or watching your favorite shows on the big screen.

This level also includes the second bedroom suite, featuring a king size bed and a flat screen TV. The bathroom, which can be accessed from the bedroom or the game room, features a shower/tub combo.

Step outside onto the lower level deck and unwind in the private hot tub. This deck also features a bar with bar stools and an outdoor TV, giving you another great place to relax after a day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park while enjoying the mountain views.

Each TV, including the theater room, has Charter Cable.

There is FREE high speed wireless internet in this cabin.

Gas fireplaces are turned off from May 1 to October 1. Fire pits are functional year round.

Travel Information

During inclement weather, especially in the winter months, Parkside Resort's roads are maintained by our maintenance staff and should not be a big concern to you and your group. Our roads are not steep and are widely paved.

Parkside Resort is motorcycle friendly, featuring flat, paved parking spaces suitable for motorcycles and trailers.
