Nona's Mountain Adventure - Smoky Mountain Cabin at Parkside Resort

Welcome to Nona's Mountain Adventure, a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin located inside Parkside Resort, just 2.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at traffic light #10.

With 2 levels and approximately 2,000 square feet, this cabin comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests and offers parking for approximately 3 vehicles, with additional parking available throughout the resort.

What truly sets Nona's Mountain Adventure apart is the outdoor space. This cabin features a large walkable back yard with a wooded view and even mini trails for exploration, giving guests something you do not often find in a cabin stay. It adds a whole extra layer of fun for families, kids, and anyone who wants room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors.

Main Level

Nona's Mountain Adventure offers easy main-level access with no stairs leading to the front door entry. From the moment you step inside, your eye is drawn through the cabin to the wooded backyard visible through the floor to ceiling windows across the back of the home.

This level features a common space with the dining area, kitchen, and living room. The dining table seats 8 comfortably, with additional seating for 3 at the breakfast bar and 2 more at the high top pub table.

The kitchen offers generous cabinet space and plenty of countertop prep room. It is fully equipped with a side by side refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, glass top stove, and dishwasher. Additional items include a coffee pot and Keurig, blender, toaster, toaster oven, crock pot, and standard cooking and eating utensils to accommodate 10 guests.

The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, a large flat screen TV, and a natural gas fireplace, creating a warm and relaxed space for gathering.

The main level also includes the first bedroom suite, featuring a king size bed, deck access, and a flat screen TV. The private oversized bathroom includes a stand up shower only. The laundry closet with stackable washer and dryer is located just outside this bedroom.

The main level deck is where the adventure really begins. It is the perfect place to grill out, enjoy the fire pit, soak in the hot tub, or let the kids have a snack at the picnic table while everyone enjoys the wooded setting.

The Yard - A Rare Feature

One of the most unique features of Nona's Mountain Adventure is the large back yard.

This is not just a small patch of space off the deck. The yard is walkable, usable, and backed by woods, creating a setting that feels private, peaceful, and fun for families.

With mini trails for exploration, extra room for kids to play, and a natural wooded view, this outdoor space makes the cabin feel even bigger and gives guests a true mountain retreat experience.

Upper Level

When you reach the upper level, you enter a massive loft area with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, making it a perfect hangout space for kids.

This loft is where you will find the double sets of twin bunk beds. Please keep in mind that the top bunks are for children only due to weight restrictions of 100 pounds.

The kids and adults can also enjoy the 2 person arcade game located in the loft.

The upper level also includes the remaining two bedrooms and bathrooms. Both bedrooms feature king size beds, private deck space, and flat screen TVs. Both bathrooms are oversized and include shower and tub combinations.

Each TV has Spectrum cable.

There is FREE high speed, wireless internet in this cabin.

Gas fireplaces are turned off from May 1 to October 1. Fire pits are functional year round.

During inclement weather, especially in the winter months, Parkside Resort's roads are maintained by our maintenance staff and should not be a big concern to you and your group. Our roads are not steep and are widely paved.

Parkside Resort is motorcycle friendly, featuring flat, paved parking spaces suitable for motorcycles and trailers.
